In life we don't get what we want, we get in life what we are. If we want more we have to be able to be more, in order to be more you have to face rejection. PEACE !

Words and body language

In other words, when people are making decisions they use not just words but also signals, often unconsciously, for certain strategic purposes. You have to use your eyes as well as your ears to get certain message across as well as to receive them. The sentence “I don’t think we ought to, do you?” can be “read” in several different ways. It can be transformed by a scowl, a shrug, or a come-hither look. Try saying it to yourself out load. The general ambience, the tone of voice and so much else can give the receiver of a message a gut feeling about what is actually meant.

Communicating both with words and with body language is all about practicing empathy with your interlocutor. You speak and act to establish yourself as an authority figure who possesses knowledge, experience, realism, expertise, self-control, self-detachment, energy, dynamism, integrity, dependability, and the ability to get and hold attention.
