OVERCOMING PERSONAL LIMITATIONS


There is in reality, nothing that can limit you, nothing that can prevent you from being what you want to be. The only obstacle to you achieving anything, is your own belief that you CANNOT do whatever it is you have to do, to become whoever it is you wish to become.

Success stories tend to focus on successes, very seldom on the disappointments and failures that preceded these successes. However, the lives of Abraham Lincoln, Walt Disney, Paul Getty and a host of other internationally acclaimed achievers, reveal that these people overcame tremendous personal hardships, financial constraints and countless failures and rejections before going on to achieve their brilliant successes. Edison failed 9,999 time before he eventually succeeded in discovering the light bulb! When someone commented on this, he replied “Now I know 9,999 ways why electricity won’t work”.

What did these super achievers have in common? Firstly, they had an intense belief in themselves that transcended all thoughts of failure. Secondly, a passionate perseverance of their quest. Each had their plans of action which they pursued vigorously, exhibiting both a determination and a tenacity that could only have come from a deep conviction and belief in themselves.

However, what they achieved, you too can achieve if you work at programming your mind for it now. Begin today to consciously programme your mind to overcome limiting and negative thoughts. Change the cannot to cans and the failure expectations to success expectations. Give yourself achievable goals to reinforce the conviction that you CAN indeed achieve anything you wish to achieve. Remember that one of the ingredients of success is perseverance. Often success awaits you, behind the door of despair.

Achieving Harmony

ACHIEVING HARMONY
Being in tune with the universe is the key to inner peace and contentment. Everything in the universe reflects harmony and balance. The Devine plan intended for us to live in perfect harmony with nature and the universe, not create discord with them.

There are rhythms in the passing of day into night. There are ebbs and flows to the tides. All forms of life – human, animal and plan live their lives in cycle. Our normal body functions in a perfect rhythm and will continue to do so until we upset it through stress of some kind or other.
We can create internal disharmony when we do not face the truth about ourselves, others, circumstances in our life, when we try to be someone else, to fulfill other’s expectations of us or when we try to change others to fit our expectations. This reinforces “non-acceptance” attitudes thereby perpetuating discord and tension within and among us.

In this negative state, we send out negative energy into the universe which is turn upsets other people’s balance causing them to react negatively to us. This negative energy build-up, blocks our channels from receiving positive energies from the universe.

This rich universe created by God, is mean to be our external life support system. Whatever it has to offer, is in abundance. For us to benefit fully from universe, we need to achieve internal harmony first. We could start by accepting ourselves, other people and their differences. Accept adversities as lessons to prepare us for bigger and better things to come. We need to fill our minds with positive thoughts and to open our channels to receive the abundant energy and goodness from the universe around us.

When we are calm and centered, we will be able to tune in to our inner intelligence which will reveal to us the truth about everything. If we can accept the truth, the truth will set us free. If we can learn to control stress and discord within ourselves, and to live in harmony with others, we will be happier and healthier individuals.
These affirmations will help you to consciously let go of your limitations and move your closer to experience a sense of harmony, inner peace and contentment.
