In life we don't get what we want, we get in life what we are. If we want more we have to be able to be more, in order to be more you have to face rejection. PEACE !

CREATIVE VISUALIZATION

To embark on the process of creative visualization, we need to replace all the past negative programming by constantly focusing on positive mental images. We need to repeatedly flash positive, healthy thoughts onto our mental screens so that they become embedded in our subconscious mind, leaving them to manifest into reality. Each time you earnestly desire something, use your imagination to create a mental picture of what you want in as exact detail as possible.

For example if it is a job you want, be as specific as you can – the exact designation and the name of the company. Close your eyes and see your name and designation engraved on the door. Imagine your-self sitting at your desk – the detail of your room, the view outside, the smile of pride on your face, the glow of achievement at having arrived. You can anything you want to be.

If the position is presently filled by someone you know, imagine him moving on to a higher position and wish him well. Try not to harbor feelings of hatred or envy as these feelings generate negative energy which will block the flow of positive energy bringing positive results into your life.

It is necessary to remind ourselves that the universe is abundant and there is plenty for all of us. Avoid taking other people’s share. Create your own space in the universe.
Frequent focusing on this picture, accompanied by a firm belief that you will get it, will suffice to envelop this thought with the positive energy it needs to manifest into reality. Tell yourself that your dream is coming true. See yourself receiving it. You can have anything that you want.

Do not be tense or anxious about it. This will generate negative energy which will negate the positive results. Earnestly desire it and confidently believe that it will come true. Then go about your normal routine. Never focus on what you don’t want because as long as you focus on this, you will unwittingly bring into reality, your fears and dislike just as surely as you will, the things you want by constantly focusing on them.
For the most effective results, creative visualization should take place when you are in a calm relaxed state of mind – better still at the alpha level, when your brain waves have slowed down to between 8-13 cycles per second. During this mental state, your mind is free from distractions and is it at its optimum level of absorption of any thought or command given it.

It is a good practice to find time to relax for about 15-20 minutes every day, preferably early in the morning before going to work or starting the day’s routine, or else before bedtime. This relaxation exercise has a great calming effect and influences the rest of your day. It is recommended you find a quite room where you will not be disturbed.

Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. Be aware of your breathing. Notice the consistent rhythm of your inhaling and exhaling. When you inhale, imagine taking in everything that is good for you and that you desire – vibrant energy, good health, oxygen, love, confidence, wealth and happiness. When you exhale, imagine releasing everything that you don’t need – stress, exhaustion, tension, self-doubt, worry, anxiety, fear and resentment.

When your muscles are completely relaxed and your mind cleared of all distractions and mental chatter, you can begin visualizing what you desire in exact detail.

Repeat this creative visualizations process as often as you can. You will be mazed at the miracles that can happen in your life.

POSITIVE SELF-DIRECTION

Often we are not conscious of the fact that we talk to ourselves. Our daily lives are endless long-playing records. More often than not we replay unhappy, negative conversations and events from our past, not realizing the damage we cause to our mental and physical states. 78% of the time we mature into adulthood, with some of the most self-hindering programming permanently embedded in our subconscious minds, where they will effect every action that we will ever take and every thought we will ever think for the rest of our lives.
Our subconscious minds simply accept what we or others programme into them whether the information is accurate or inaccurate, healthy or unhealthy, helpful or destructive. Now that we know this, we can decide to alter our lives by choosing thoughts and self-programming which will fulfill our dreams or desires. Below are some guidelines we can follow to ensure positive results in our life:
  1. We need to accept responsibility for our life and decide to direct along a path we choose – to prosperity, health, happiness, and inner peace.
  2. A good habit is to listen to our self-talk and note how much of it is frequently negative.
  3. When we realize we are entertaining a negative thought, we need to develop the habit of banishing it by saying “Next” or “Cancel, cancel”.
  4. We then need to turn every negative self-talk into a positive alternative.
Examples
Negative: “I can’t do this”.
Positive  : “Yes I can do this!”
Negative: “I am hopeless at this”.
Positive  : “I am good at this” or “I am getting better and better at this”.

  1. For affirmations to be most effective, they need to be repeated during a state of meditation,   when you are in a completely relaxed state – at your alpha level where your brain rhythm is 8-13 cycles per second. During this meditative state, you need to visualize your affirmation in detail using all your five sense if possible.
  2. Desire exactly what you wish to achieve, in as much detail as possible. Write it down sparing no detail. Poorly defined goals produce poor results.
  3. Think of what you wish to achieve as often as possible, the more often the better and the sooner you will achieve what you want.
  4. Surround your goal with all the appropriate emotions, as well as a positive belief that they are within reach. You can, only if you think you can.

OVERCOMING PERSONAL LIMITATIONS

There is in reality, nothing that can limit you, nothing that can prevent you from being what you want to be. The only obstacle to you achieving anything, is your own belief that you CANNOT do whatever it is you have to do, to become whoever it is you wish to become.

Success stories tend to focus on successes, very seldom on the disappointments and failures that preceded these successes. However, the lives of Abraham Lincoln, Walt Disney, Paul Getty and a host of other internationally acclaimed achievers, reveal that these people overcame tremendous personal hardships, financial constraints and countless failures and rejections before going on to achieve their brilliant successes. Edison failed 9,999 time before he eventually succeeded in discovering the light bulb! When someone commented on this, he replied “Now I know 9,999 ways why electricity won’t work”.

What did these super achievers have in common? Firstly, they had an intense belief in themselves that transcended all thoughts of failure. Secondly, a passionate perseverance of their quest. Each had their plans of action which they pursued vigorously, exhibiting both a determination and a tenacity that could only have come from a deep conviction and belief in themselves.

However, what they achieved, you too can achieve if you work at programming your mind for it now. Begin today to consciously programme your mind to overcome limiting and negative thoughts. Change the cannot to cans and the failure expectations to success expectations. Give yourself achievable goals to reinforce the conviction that you CAN indeed achieve anything you wish to achieve. Remember that one of the ingredients of success is perseverance. Often success awaits you, behind the door of despair.

The following affirmations will help flush out your limiting thoughts and fill your mind with faith, confidence and optimism.

I am so happy now that I am filled with confidence and a strong sense of purpose in life/
I can achieve anything that I put my mind to.
I love challenges. Challenges are golden opportunities for me to surface my talents and capabilities.
I deserve success and happiness.
I am ready for success and happiness.
